So, I met this girl on a dating app. Super cute, artsy, kind of chaotic in a way that made me suspicious she might have lost her car keys at least three times that week. Perfect.
We decided to go on a picnic date. Romantic, simple, low-pressure—except I forgot one tiny detail. I’m allergic to grass. Like, full-blown, red eyes, sneezing, looking-like-I’ve-been-crying-all-day allergic.
I didn’t want to seem weird, so I brought a blanket and figured, “I’ll be fine!” Spoiler: I was not fine.
She brought homemade sandwiches. I brought… a slow descent into allergy-induced misery. Five minutes in, my eyes were watering so much that she thought I was getting emotional over her story about adopting a cat. Ten minutes in, I sneezed so hard I knocked over our lemonade. Fifteen minutes in, she was googling “Can a person drown in their own snot?”
Finally, she looked at me and said, “Are you… okay?”
And I, in my most charming, totally-not-dying voice, said, “I’m allergic to the concept of being outside.”
She laughed so hard she nearly choked on her sandwich. Then she packed everything up, drove us to an ice cream shop, and we spent the rest of the date indoors, where I could breathe like a normal human.
we were together for 1 year, unfortunately it didn’t work out.
😂..omg too bad it didn’t work out in the end
😆😆😆😆😆😆LOL😂
I was running late, hair a mess, and, of course, spilled my entire latte on myself.
That’s when she laughed—a gorgeous woman in a leather jacket, holding her own coffee like she had her life together.
“Rough morning?” she smirked.
“Just living the dream,” I muttered, blotting my shirt.
She handed me a napkin. “Want me to buy you another? You know, since fate clearly wanted us to talk.”
I blinked. “You believe in fate?”
She grinned. “I believe in coffee and cute girls. Lucky me, I found both.”
We went on a few dates. She was charming, funny, and kissed like a dream. But she hated cats, and I had two. She liked hiking at sunrise, and I liked sleeping until noon.
One day, over coffee, she sighed. “I think we’re just… different.”
I nodded. “Yeah. But hey, at least I got a free latte out of it.”
She laughed. I laughed. And that was that.

The Cat Lady Date Disaster
Matched with a gorgeous woman—her profile said she loved animals, cute, right? We met at a café, and she brought her cat… in a backpack.
“Hope you don’t mind, he gets separation anxiety,” she said. Mr. Whiskers stared me down while she fed him muffin crumbs. Every time I spoke, she whispered to him, “She seems nice, right?”
When I leaned in for a kiss, he hissed. She gasped. “Oh no, he doesn’t approve.”
Rejected. By. A. Cat.
We were supposed to meet for coffee, but a sudden downpour turned our first date into a rainy adventure. Instead of canceling, she pulled me under an awning, grinning. “Guess the universe wants us to get creative.”
We ran through the streets, laughing like kids, finally ducking into a tiny bookstore. Dripping wet, we wandered between the shelves, picking out the most ridiculous romance novels we could find.
Then, as thunder rumbled outside, she looked at me and said, “I’ve always wanted to kiss someone in the rain.”
Before I could reply, she pulled me outside. The rain was cold, but her lips were warm, soft, and perfect.
And just like that, I knew—I didn’t need sunshine for this to be the best date of my life.
Wow! 🤩
This is what I want too!!!
